Kuwait, May 2025 – Dr. Mohammad Omran Boshahri, Orthopedic Specialist at Taiba Hospital, recently took part in a specialized training program on Ultrasound-Guided Upper Limb Surgery at the IRCAD Institute in Strasbourg, France, held from 23 to 24 May 2025 and accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME).
The training brought together a group of orthopedic surgeons from Al Razi Orthopedic Hospital, Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah Hospital, and other institutions, focusing on advanced techniques for performing minimally invasive upper limb procedures using ultrasound guidance. These methods allow for interventions that were once conducted through open surgery—often requiring sutures and prolonged recovery—to now be performed through small incisions with shorter recovery times and reduced post-operative complications.
